BLACK HISTORY MONTH OPENING CEREMONY
Feb 2, 6-9 pm at University of Toronto Mississauga, 3359 Mississauga Road, L5L 1C6. Kaneff Centre (Rm 137). The Black History Month Committee strives to introduce new innovative ideas. This year’s event will feature the film “Color Me”, which is a documentary filmed in Brampton, spoken word artists, and guest speakers from the African and Afro-Caribbean communities. The director and student actor in the film will be attending the opening ceremony event. There will be a Q&A session at the end, and refreshments will be served.
