Wizard of Oz Auditions (BMT)

Brampton Music Theatre is holding Auditions for The Wizard of Oz  at 115 Orenda Road in Brampton on the following dates:

December 8th, 12noon-4pm (Children)

December 10th, 7-10pm

December 11th, 7-10pm

Call backs (if needed) will be on December 13th.

Audition requirements:

- Wear comfortable clothing (you will be required to learn some choreo)

- Please do not sing a song from the show

- You will be required to do a cold reading

- Come with your background track (no vocals) on a CD or iPod for your song

Brampton Music Theatre s now accepting applications for Directors of their fall Junior production of Seussical Jr (Director/Musical Director and Choreographer) and Spring production of the Wizard of Oz. A fabulous evening...

We thank, congratulate and cheer for the performers, participants and audience that came out to this past Saturday’s Brampton Arts in Bloom at the Rose. It was a beautiful experience that held promise. We can’t wait to see what else the future holds for this event and the arts community at large.

For CHILDREN'S CHORUS ONLY
November 28th, 6 -9 pm

Adult Auditions
December 2nd 1-5pm, 3rd 6-10pm

Call backs December 5th

All Auditions and Call Backs will be at 115 Orenda Road, Brampton, ON

Children:
We are looking for approximately 20 children aged 6-13 for the Mainstage production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

Auditions will be held at Orenda - from 6 pm to 9pm. Auditions will be in intervals of 5 minutes

Please prepare any song using a karaoke backup on CD

Come - wearing comfortable clothing and prepared to do a small dance audition

If accepted into the cast, parents will be asked to sign up for a production department to volunteer a minimum of 10 hours of time in either props, costume, set, set construction, makeup or other areas to support the production.

Adults
Sunday Dec. 2nd - 1-5pm (five minute intervals) - choreo auditions at 1:40, 2:40, 3:40, 4:40 for 20 mins)
Monday Dec. 3rd - 6-10 (five minute intervals) - choreo audutions at 6:40, 7:40, 8:40, 9:40 for 20 mins)

Rehearsals will take place beginning in January 2013
Sunday afternoons, Monday evenings and Wednesday evenings

Performance week at the Rose is April 7th to the 13th, 2013

Sound of Music AUDITIONS

Brampton Music Theatre's Production of Sound of Music needs more male actors to fill the roles of the Germany Nazis. They are not required to sing. Please email Soundofmusic@hotmail.com for audition times. Show is in rehearsals on Sunday afternoons Tuesday evenings and Thursdays. The show is Nov 10 until the 12.

OPEN CALL FOR BMT's SOUND OF MUSIC

Sept. 6th from 6- 7pm. BMT is in need of talented singers that would like to audition for the production of The Sound Of Music. To complete the cast, they need male and females to add to the children's choir, Nuns and Nazi. Please pass the word on that the open call is at 115 Orenda. Bring your friends and come out and have fun.

The Fall Session of Brampton Music Theatre YOUTH TROUPE wants you! Instructors required for Youth Program (ages 7-17). Classes run Saturday mornings from 10 am to 12 pm. Fall Session Dates : Sept 24, Oct 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 & Nov 5, 12, 19, 26. Location: St.Thomas Aquinas SS, 25 Corporation Drive.
