The Art Workshop

Cake Decorating 4 week course - $100. Starts Tuesday, March 6th from 7-9pm. Learn the basics and eat your results! The Art Workshop (division of Brampton Art Fair) starts the first class with a killer cupcake theme. In following weeks they’ll cover cakes, structure, fondants, sugar flowers, recipe variations and more. Creative Writing 4 week course - $100 Starts Thursday March 8, 2012 from 7-9pm and runs to March 29th. Ready to write the next great murder mystery but don't know where to start? Start right here! Simple tips and tricks to bring out the creative writer in you! This course is presented by Catherine Astolfo, Author of The Emily Taylor Series. Purpose: to encourage fledgling writers to put their words on paper in a way that will have shape and promise!

Wed, March 14 from 7-9pm -OR- Sat March 17 from 10am – noon. TWO dates to choose from. NEW! The Art Workshop, division of the Brampton Fair offers the workshop Wire Wrapped Rings. Create a beautiful keepsake ring, just for you! Using aluminum wire (which is easy to work with and won't tarnish), to create a one-of-a-kind hand made wire wrapped ring, with your choice of focal bead (you can even bring a favourite bead of your own to make into a ring if you prefer!). You'll learn the techniques, how to use jewellers tools, correct finishing practices and you'll take home at least one completed project. Includes materials! $30. http://www.theartworkshop.ca/

NEW! Stained Glass Painting workshop - $35 Join TAW Saturday, March 17 from 10am - 12:30pm and learn how to imitate the look of stained glass with Vitrail paint! Finish a beautiful Morning Glory on glass and take it home with you. All materials supplied.

Photography Basics Workshop $25 Saturday, March 24th from 10am - 12noon
It's not about the expensive camera and equipment, it's about you, what you see, your technique and using your camera. It doesn't matter whether you use a point & shoot, an iPhone or a Blackberry, in our Photography Basics Workshop we will teach you how to use your camer, how to understand its functions and most importantly how you can take better photos!
