Peel Panto Players announces OPEN AUDITIONS for Charlie & the Chocolate Factory

Rehearsals Sunday afternoons, Monday and Wednesday evenings, commencing Dec 11. PPP is looking for: 5 Grandparent-aged (Willy Wonka being one), 9 Adults (8 parents and the Narrator), 5 Children for the winners of the Golden Tickets & 6 to 8 younger children portraying Oompa Loompa’s. Please expect to do a monologue of your own (less than a minute is good), a reading from the script, a short song and a bit of dance.

Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Meeting

Nov 22 - 7:30 PM.in Brampton Arts Council Building, 24A Alexander St (behind high school in parking lot area, go to the back porch door of the building). Meeting Agenda: Run through a creative song writing exercise called Message In A Bottle. Bring paper & pen. Song evaluations will also be done. Please bring a song with 10-15 copies of the lyric. What we keep tells a story

The Art Gallery of Peel, Peel Heritage Complex, is pleased to announce the launch of Passages an exciting interactive website: http://www.peelregion.ca/heritage/passages . We all keep reminders of our past. The Passages web project invites everyone to share the story attached to the objects they have kept. Visitors to the site can upload their own photo and story, and view the evolving Gallery of submissions. Through these stories will emerge a collective history that reflects the diversity of our communities today, and illustrates what we share in common.
