Sewing Basics

April 23, 7 - 9pm. Complete a BBQ apron - just in time for BBQ season! Yay! You'll need to bring: your sewing machine, 1 metre of heavy cotton fabric, 1 spool of thread, straight pins, and a pair of scissors. If you do not have any (or all!) of these supplies, just let us know when you register and we can arrange to have them there for you. Learnapalooza is a community-wide, all-ages, brain-stretching weekend of fun for the whole family! BAF will have events all throughout the city - some for free and some for a fee, but BAF is sure you'll be able to find something you'd love to learn about! Join as a vendor at the Learnapalooza Festival! This is open to all who have something to offer learning in. You could showcase your TaiChi group, demonstrate and sell your "better mousetraps", demo your cake decorating at your booth, explain what reiki is and so much more!
