One Act Play Competition for Writers 2013

The entry fee for each submission is $25.

One Act Plays of from 10 minutes to 70 minutes may be submitted by mail or email.

The competition runs until November 30th 2013.

Call for Young Artists



Announcing an exciting opportunity for youth to express their creativity, win prizes and have their videos digitally projected on city hall, Kitchener. Open to youth, ages 12-25. Winners will get cash prizes. Finalists will get great exposure, the videos will be projected on 'The Cube' atop Kitchener City Hall using state-of-the-art Christie Digital projectors.Submission deadline: June 14, 2013

ORMTA Greater Toronto Area Zone Competitions

DEADLINE: April 30th, 2012. The ORMTA Greater Toronto Area Zone Competitions is an annual event featuring some of the most talented advanced music students in the GTA. Advanced students of ORMTA members can compete in one of five competitions by first qualifying at their local branch audition. CALL FOR ARTISTS: Avian Fauna – Birds of the Haliburton Highlands

Canadian artists are invited to submit proposals for a new sculpture for the Haliburton Sculpture Forest located in Glebe Park in the village of Haliburton, Ontario.

The Haliburton Sculpture Forest is looking for a work of artistic/design excellence and durability that suits the natural attributes of the Haliburton Sculpture Forest and addresses the theme of Avian Fauna - birds of Haliburton Highlands region.

The winning artist will be responsible for the cost of materials and transporting the
sculpture to the site.

The sculpture may be an existing work or a new work. The Sculpture Forest will pay up
to $9,500 (plus HST if applicable) for the work.

Sculpture is to be installed by June 15, 2012

Proposals must include a description of the sculpture, detailed drawings or a maquette (if it is a proposed new work), photographs (if it is an existing work), description of materials and installation method and five pictures of other recent work. Details are provided in the terms of reference.
