Mentoring Sessions

Marc-Alan Barnette

ONE ON ONE. A note by note, line by line assessment of your songs. Giving detailed information. Find out where your overall writing level is, what you need to do for that "Next Step."
30 minutes: $45. Between three and five songs depending on length of songs.
1 hour $65 Between 6 and 7 songs.

Career advice. Have questions about steps, process, pathways? This is when to get them.
"Write ups."

This is a two hour, focused songwriting teaching lesson. Songs are written around participant's ideas, structure, focus, lyrics, melody, phrasing, avoiding "2nd verse hell": Getting the most out of your message, writing to hooks, getting it all in a tight time framework.
